Is Work-Based Learning right for me?
You do not have to complete a taught or correspondence course (although this is an option), nor is it necessary to have previous academic qualifications to apply.

How is it done?
A member of academic staff works with you and your employer to set out what learning goals (similar to modules) are to be achieved, and what form they will take. You then complete these goals with support from your university supervisor.

How does it work?
A University Facilitator works with the organisation and candidate to identify and define a suitable strategic opportunity or problem. Each programme is tailored to meet individual and organisational needs.

I've taken some professional exams - do these count?
It may be possible to gain credit from courses attended in the past, as well as previous work-based activities.

Do I have to attend lectures?
If appropriate, taught models from Kingston University can be included in your programme.

Do I have to take an exam?
You will have to take a viva - a final oral exam which looks back on the work you have done and draws conclusions.
