KTP responds to a strategic need in your company by using academic know-how and reduces the risk of project failure. The scheme has been running for over thirty years.
Identify a project which would make a critical diference to your business, and a specialist academic will supervise this project, which will be carried out by a recent graduate. Projects can be from 1-3 years long and usually develop a new product, service or process. KTPs provide funding (up to 60% of costs for an SME), project management and training. Other resources from around a university can be drawn upon if needed.
