Kingston’s Work-Based Learning programme provides the opportunity for professionals to gain academic recognition for learning gained at work. The flexible ‘learning contract’ framework enables a programme to be tailored specifically around your work and your organisation. By recognising the learning involved in completing work-based projects, academic credit can be obtained and a qualification awarded for the contribution you make to your organisation’s success.
The programme can consist entirely of individual learning goals, based on current and future work activities. Taught modules at Kingston University can also be included, and it may also be possible to gain credit from courses attended in the past, as well as previous work-based activities.
Awards can be made at Foundation and Master’s level, and Kingston’s WBL programme can support the following subject areas:
- Business
- Design
- Healthcare
- Humanities
- Technology
