Summary
Slough Business Community Partnership (SBCP) was set up in 2001 in order to get businesses more involved in supporting the town of Slough. The SBCP is widely supported in and around Slough by business, community, the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce, Thames Valley University and many other organisations.
The HR Group of SBCP represents HR managers across Slough (Slough has more corporate HQs than the whole of Wales!). WestFocus Health Network aims to support and influence that group by providing information, contacts and services to assist HR managers in ensuring a healthy workplace.
WestFocus partners attend the regular meetings of the SBCP HR Group and presented to a group of 80 HR managers at the SBCP HR Group Conference (download PDF file) in October 2006. WestFocus and the SBCP also presented a Wellbeing at Work Day (download Word document) at Thames Valley University in June 2006.
