The WestFocus Health Network comprises a group of academics from WestFocus partner universities actively involved in the health and well-being arena. They are experts in a wide range of disciplines including nursing, social care, complementary therapies, psychology and bioengineering.
Collectively, the WestFocus Health Network offers an interdisciplinary, holistic, and evidence-based approach to real life problems in the community. It is actively engaged in listening and responding to the WestFocus population, and involves users and clients in the design of its projects.
The WestFocus Health Network aims to transfer knowledge, opportunities and other benefits to SMEs, communities and the not-for-profit sector through strong outreach and effective collaboration.
The WestFocus Health Network is organised into three working groups responding to distinct needs across the lifespan in the WestFocus community:
