The Network has been developed through the collaboration of seven universities: Roehampton University; Kingston University; Brunel University; Royal Holloway, University of London; St George’s University of London; Thames Valley University and University of Westminster.

The Social Inclusion Network is transferring knowledge from within the seven institutions to support those voluntary, community and public organisations that work with socially-excluded groups.

Currently many different organisations are joining the Social Inclusion Network to benefit from networking events; workshops, conferences and seminars.

Members are accessing capacity building support to help them work more effectively and efficiently as well as utilising the research centres based within the universities on consultancy projects tailored to individual needs.

Network members are also benefiting from one of Westfocus’ most significant resources: its many thousands of students and graduates.

Members can tap into this talent pool by recruiting a student or a graduate interested in working in this sector on a temporary, part-time or full time basis.
