Our Sustainable Architecture and Construction Unit organises networking, events and training for professionals involved in the construction industry, predominantly focusing on architects. The Unit is managed from the School of Architecture and Landscape, Kingston University.
Taking the view that research, education, building and reflection are core components of the design process, the Unit explores ways of working in partnership with the various disciplines within the construction industry to further innovation and good practice in the area of sustainability. Through its partnership with the Green Register of Construction Professionals, the Unit provides training and events that aim to increase knowledge and application of more sustainable building practices.
