Sustainable Property

Our Sustainable Property in Practice Unit disseminates sustainable property research and information to business. The Unit is managed from the School of Surveying, Kingston University. Previous work within the School identified property consultancy as a key sector for increasing understanding of sustainable property issues within the broader business community.

The focus of the Unit is on practical application of sustainability principles within property markets. This is achieved through networking, events, and training for professionals involved in the property industry.

Alan Russell of Kingston University’s School of Surveying recently held a series of four seminars addressing sustainability within the property industry:

The four seminars have been documented, and a total of 12 different topics covered in the series (plus an introduction and bibliography, below) are available to download from these pages.

An introduction to the seminars, including a range of background information on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and various other business and financial issues such as ethical investment, shareholder influence and business legislations. Also contains a brief background bibliography.

Contains all references and resources used throughout the seminar series.

Please Note that all downloads on these pages are between 1-5MB and so may be slow to download.
