A flexible short-term project scheme for small and medium sized enterprises.
Shell STEP: Low risk, low cost opportunity to complete a project
Normally 8 week placements over the summer. Popular projects include IT development and marketing. Cost: approx £1600 for 8 weeks.
Year Out Placements: Bring in student skills for a longer period. Students on a range of vocational courses have a year’s experience in an organisation, usually after their second year. Try out a potential future employee!
KTP: Knowledge Transfer Partnership. In-depth, expert assistance with a strategic project
Make a real change with a graduate, backed by academic support from a university. Typically for two years. Cost greatly subsidised.
