Welcome to WestFocus, the partnership between higher education,  community groups and small and medium sized businesses. Although the WestFocus partner universities are all based in South or West London, and in the Thames Valley,  the demand for our services can be located anywhere in the UK. This web portal has been created to provide you with a place where you can learn about WestFocus and the activities that will help you to address the business issues that face you or your organisation. Through our various Knowledge Networks and Business Units, and a host of other supporting activities, WestFocus encourages the exchange of knowledge and skills across the UK.

We are introducing a range of new ways that will help you to set up or improve your business, gain funding, recruit graduate staff, find employment or placements (for students or graduates), and gain new skills. By joining and sharing experiences with groups of like-minded individuals in the Knowledge and Business Development Networks (KBDN), you’ll receive greater insights into business, local issues and available technologies and gain access to relevant and practical research.

We encourage you to explore this portal further, by looking at what the Knowledge Networks, and University Talent areas have to offer. For businesses, both the Entrepreneurship Centre and Business Acceleration areas have a wealth of support and ideas that encourage innovation and creativity.
