Learning outcomes
After completing this Building Block you should be able to:
- Understand how your industry value chain is put together
- Assess how ‘connected’ you are up and down your own industry value chain
- Understand the importance of integrated operations, marketing and finance strategies
- Recognise the best method of marketing your new venture
- Assess your new venture’s financial position by preparing basic financial management reports (including Profit and Loss, Balance sheet and Cash flow)
